Omega Seamaster 300 Bronze Gold Debuted

The new Seamaster 300 Bronze Gold model will be the first Omega timepiece to be created from the patent-pending alloy.

As if the Omega Seamaster 300 collection wasn’t already impressive enough, the watchmaker has just announced a new model made with Bronze Gold. This new patent-pending alloy is remarkably eye-catching. It can be found across the entire case and buckle where it blends beautifully with brown ceramic touches. TO create the new one-of-a-kind allow, Omega combined elements like gold, palladium and silver in order to end up with a color that sits between their 18K Moonshine gold and 18K Sedna gold. Also, Omega notes that this alloy is perfectly safe for skin contact thanks to its composition and it also offers “incomparable corrosion resistance.” It seems Omega made sure this is one watch that can be worn for years without showing any signs of aging. As for its movement, it features the proven Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 that is self-winding in both directions and offers a power reserve of 60 hours.

The new Omega Seamaster 300 Bronze Gold will be available starting in June 2021 with a price of $11,600. Learn more by clicking here. Also, be sure to check out the new Hublot Classic Fusion Orlinski in Blue Ceramic.

Zenith Introduces Aaron Rodgers As Newest Brand Ambassador For 2021

Recently, we covered the release of the Zenith Chronomaster Sport, which on paper looks and sounds amazing, but how does it perform as a sport driven timepiece? To answer that question, Zenith turned to an infamous athlete to help test that theory. Zenith is proud to announce Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers as its newest brand ambassador for 2021. There are many similarities between watchmaking and football but none more important than precision. Aaron Rodgers says, “Football is a game of precision. You have to spend time learning and studying. It’s not just running down the field as fast as you can or throwing the balls as far as you can.” In games that come down to the wire, time takes on new meaning: a quarterback can have just seconds to find an open player and make a game-winning throw. While Rodgers is a leader in precision on the field, Zenith has been a standard-bearer of precision in the watch industry for over 50 years thanks to its famed El Primero chronograph movement, which measures time to an incredible 1/10th of a second. As individuals from sports backgrounds become more involved in the development and design of timepiece manufacturing, they bridge the gap between the two worlds, opening the eyes to a new group of enthusiasts.

Angelus U52 Luis Campos Edition is a Soccer Fan’s Dream Watch

If you’re a fan of the beautiful game, soccer, then you’ve more than likely heard of Luis Campos. Famous for his scouting abilities, he has discovered some of the game’s most popular players including Anthony Martial, Bernardo Silva, Bakayoko, Fabinho and Mendy. Not only does he know soccer like the back of his hand, he knows watches very well, too. Speaking a bit more specifically, he’s a fan and friend of Angelus who has just unveiled their new U52 Luis Campos Edition. This new watch was designed in collaboration with Campos, who helped pick out the blues of the watch, its strap, football motif on the small seconds and technical specifications. The watch itself runs on the Angelus calibre A-300, a skeleton movement with a one-minute flying tourbillon and 300-meter water resistance. Thanks to this skeleton movement and 45 mm case made of grade-5 titanium, the U52 is both lightweight and very sturdy. This was an aspect Campos sought in a watch because it allows him to wear it during demanding situations without having to worry about vibrations or impacts. One other feature that soccer fans will like, aside from its solidity, is the 60-minute timing system inside the case on the flange. Running along with this system are blue markings from zero to 45, signifying the halves of a soccer match. If you’re a soccer fan or watch collector and are interested in the limited edition Angelus U52 Luis Campos Edition, be sure to act quick because only 25 examples are to be created. Rolex Unveils New Submariner Collection

The Rolex Submariner is just as iconic as the brand itself and has been only growing in popularity since the collection first released in 1954. The watch originated as a diver’s tool is now being enjoyed by individuals of all different backgrounds. Over the years, many different renditions and color options have been introduced to the submariner family, creating an entire following of enthusiasts. Rolex is proud to announce to those faithful admirers the all-new Submariner Collection. To the naked eye, the new models are perceived as original and even a blast from the past referring to the available color options. A closer look will uncover that thought. Behind the case and throughout the timepiece Rolex has made some subtle changes to improve the Submariner. Starting with the physical size, the submariner is now sized at 41mm instead of the previous 40 mm style. Each model will feature a dial fitted with a luminescent Chromalight, resulting in a glowing display. The no-date model will use Rolex’s newly launched cailbre 3230, while the submariner date models will house the prized 3235 both with 70-hour power reserves. Staying true to the heritage of diving and the fact that it is an underwater tool, the new models will continue to have a water resistance of 300 meters/1000 feet. Variations of the submariner will be presented in oyster steel, gold, and a combination of the two for both the case as well as the flat three linked bracelets.

Oyster Steel

Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date

The silver oyster steel is the classic and more price-conscious choice when it comes to the new submariner line up. It’s the only model of the three material selections that can be offered in a no-date option. All dials will be offered with an elegant black dial and the availability to choose either a matching black or a green ceramic bezel.

Gold

Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date

When it comes to the more precious metals, the Rolex Submariner will be offered in both white and yellow gold. The white gold model features an elegant black dial surrounded by a blue ceramic bezel. The yellow gold models are complemented with either a blue or black matching dial and bezel set.

Oystersteel and Gold

Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date

If one cannot decide on either oystersteel or yellow gold, Rolex offers the best of both worlds with two incredible variations. An oystersteel flat three linked bracelet is parted down the middle with center linked made from polished yellow gold. The touches of yellow gold make its way throughout the watch to highlight the details such as the self-winding crown, bezel, and dial. Color options for the oystersteel and gold will include either blue or black matching dial and bezel.
